This course is intended for graduate and upper-class undergraduate students whose major is Physics or Astrophysics. We will discuss various aspects of radiative transfer and processes, such topics as fundamentals of radiative transfer, basic descriptions of radiation fields, and various emission mechanisms to generate radiation in astrophysical systems. The class is aimed at building a solid foundation for students to further pursue astrophysical research in all fields of astronomy.
