Stellar Astrophysics (ASTR 5100) Fall 2024


This course is intended for graduate and senior undergraduate students whose major is Physics or Astrophysics. We will discuss the nature of stars in the context of astrophysics, such topics as interactions between matter and radiation, heat transfer, interior structures, as well as their evolution. The class is aimed at building a solid foundation for students to further pursue astrophysical research in all fields of astronomy.


這是一門針對研究所與大學部高年級物理或天文物理相關科系學生為主所設計的課程。內容主要以物理的角度來探討恆星的本質,包含其內部光與物質的交互作用、熱轉移、內部結構及演化過程。課程設計以提供學生未來從事天文物理相關研究領域的基礎為主。
