Theoretical Mechanics I & II

Spring 2022 conducted in Mandarin.

This course is designed for two semesters and aims to introduce the methods of describing and quantifying various dynamical systems in the classical regime, including single body and complex systems comprised of many particles.  We will start from Newtonian Mechanics for simple systems, oscillations, and gravitation, followed by Lagrangian and Hamiltonian dynamics for complex systems, including recipes in non-inertial frames.  Students must have basic skills in Physics and Mathematics at first year college level.
