This course is intended for graduate and senior undergraduate students whose major is Physics or Astrophysics. We will discuss various aspects of galaxies, such topics as morphology, classification, kinematics, detailed components, cosmic distance ladder, formation and evolution of galaxies. The class is aimed at building a foundation for students to further pursue research in galaxies related fields.
這是一門針對研究所及大學部高年級物理或天文相關科系學生為主所設計的課程。內容包含本銀河系的介紹、與星系相關的介紹:如其形態、分類、動力學結構、組成結構等,及活躍星系核,以至於宇宙距離測量階梯的建立、星系的演化與形成理論。課程設計以提供學生未來從事星系相關研究領域的基礎為主。
